18 Month Pictures

Alyssa is 18 months old today! She is healthy and happy and is the best little girl (as long as she's had a nap.) We are so thankful that God chose us to be her parents! Here are some of the pictures that we took today...

Painting & Hunting Eggs For the First Time!

Grandma called to say she was coming up with special eggs for Alyssa. Alyssa and Grandma dyed the eggs (& somehow made it through with out a single oops!). They had a great time...each time a freshly dyed egg came up, Alyssa would ooh and ahh. I don't think I'd realized, until looking at these pictures, how much Alyssa is like her Grandma. Do you see the similarity??

Early Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Egg Hunt at church this weekend. Alyssa didn't know what to do at first but soon caught on and didn't want to quit when it was time to go inside.

Fort Worth Zoo

This is Alyssa looking into the bird cage.
It was hard to take pictures through the chain cage,
but Alyssa is really into "ducks" these days
and even thouth it does not look like it, she had fun with her daddy in the bird cage.

Alyssa and the white tiger

Alyssa is giving and tour, here, "If you look this way, you will see the big elephant..."

San Antonio

Alyssa loved the balcony in our hotel room. She would live "side" if she could.

Alyssa was not going to smile for the camera, but YEAAAA we're at Sea World!!

Family Picture was taken before the dolphin show.

Alyssa didn't know what to expect but she LOVED it. She bounced and waved and kicked and pointed. It was fun to watch her.

This is part of the diving show that went with the dolphin show.

Isn't this a great shot!

We had some time before for the Shamu show so we went to see the penguins.
And finally Shamu...
We sat one row above the "splash zone."
Fun in the gift Shop.

Sooooo, we were on our way to the last and final show that we had planned to see, and Alyssa couldn't stay awake a second longer! I've never seen her fall asleep in her stroller before.
The Sea Lion show was a little corney but still good, I guess.
We got our stuffed toy and we're out of here!

River Walk
(trying to get a picture was a little tough)
We were sooo hot in the 80-90 degree weather so we thought we'd go to the pool.....it was somewhere around 50 below! However, Alyssa did not complain because there were fun kids to watch! Dad jumped in with Alyssa and I went to the hot tub.
