Eggs Eggs Eggs

Grandma and Alyssa dyed easter eggs again this year.  Alyssa was all business and VERY serious about her big job.  She's been talking about it for weeks.  It will be a really great memory!

Photography Class

I am taking a photography class with Sarah. Our assignment was to take a bunch of pictures this week and bring them to class. So I've been playing with the functions on my camera and I've decided to share some of my pics.  It's been lots of fun and I'm becoming more comfortable with the camera that James got for me last year on Mother's Day.

1st Zoo Day This Year

Alyssa is so much fun.  It is so exciting to watch her growing and learning.  She is such a blessing!

We LOVE Snow Days

I couldn't love this little girl more.  She is such a joy!  Days like today make me wish I could stay home all the time.

Shocking

This little girl has the craziest hair....it can be silky and curly but it can also be all frizz!

It's a boy!

The sonogram was today and we're having a boy! Everything was normal except he is 10 days big. They wanted to change my due date but because I am sure about my dates, they are unsure of what to do. I guess he's going to be a big boy!  Alyssa does not really understand yet what is going on but I'm sure in June things are going to change.  We will be continually praying that she adjusts to our new arrival!

Ooops....again!

Last Sunday we had another accident. James was playing with Alyssa and tossed her onto our bed which we've both done tons of times before. This time, she braced herself with her arm behind back...it didn't go well and was all twisted behind her when she landed. Her wrist looked bruised and swollen so we went to the immediate care center. They did x-rays and did not find a break. They gave her a wrist brace to wear. By Wednesday, her wrist seemed fine but she was refusing to use her arm and she wouldn't let us bend her elbow. I called the orthopediatric doc that we used before. He did more x-rays and still didn't find anything, but she is obviously in pain so he wanted to immobilize it for 2 weeks. Soooo...we have another cast.
