Growing up too fast...
Zane was a little cranky today and wasn't napping well. I decided to stick my finger in his mouth and see if I felt his teeth coming since he's had the four front top and four front bottom (eight total) for a while now. I did not feel the canines at all but I noticed some swelling further back. I found that on both lower sides and on one upper side, he is working on molar teeth that are partially visible!!! He seems crazy young to have sooooooo many teeth. Alyssa had four total at this age, but Zane has eleven!
On another note, Alyssa is growing up too. She is not only extremely tall for her age but she is more like a 13 year old than a 3 year old sometimes. The other day she was talking about growing up. She said that she would get a prince and move away. When I expressed how sad I would be and how much I would miss her, she responded by telling me that I could call her on the phone....and then I would not be the boss of her ANY more! I couldn't help but laugh and then I told her that I would ALWAYS be the boss of her. Seriously, what 3 year old thinks like this??? I'm really not THAT bossy! She has also recently told me that she will buy a house like the ones on HGTV and that she wants to change the color of her hair to yellow. Just this morning she said, out of the blue, that she is grown up enough to have earrings!
