Baby Shower

The baby shower was this past weekend.  There are a few events in life in which a person gets to be "showered" with love from their friends and family.  Let me tell ya, this was one of those days.  If people are among the greatest blesssings in our lives (& I think they are)  then I am so very richly blessed.  The ladies in this last photo (which I hesitated to post because it looks like I swallowed a couple basketballs) did such an amazing job hosting this shower!  I feel humbled to have such an outstanding circle of friends who were willing to make such a special day just for me.  Thanks, gals!  I love ya!

Zoo with Daddy

James kept Alyssa home on his day off and took her to the zoo.  It is one of her favoirte places to go.

Kansas Fields

We ventured out on our way back from my hometown last weekend.  It was chilly, cloudy, and drizzly but Alyssa did not disappoint.  I struggled to get the settings on the camera the way that I wanted them but with a little editing I think we got a couple of good pictures.

Grandma and Alyssa dyed easter eggs again this year.  Alyssa was all business and VERY serious about her big job.  She's been talking about it for weeks.  It will be a really great memory!
