This is the house that I grew up in. It was formally known as the "blue house" but as you can see it is no longer blue. I spent half a week and helped my dad paint and then James and I went together a week later and finished the job. I wish I had a before picture because it looks a thousand times better.
Above is a picture of our current house taken a couple years ago. I had been nagging James about the fading and peeling paint so Dad returned the favor. Mom and Dad came up to Wichita and helped out. Dad and I did most of the painting and Mom took care of Alyssa. (James took off a couple days and helped too.)

Alli and I took the girls to the Wichita Botanical Gardens on Thursday. We took around 300 pictures with Alli's really really nice camera. It was hot and Alyssa was sweaty and grouchy but I think we came back with several really great shots. Thanks Alli!
