The big news....if you didn't get it from the videos, we are pregnant!!!! We've known since October and it's been crazy hard to keep the secret but now it's out. We gave James's mom a clock with pictures of all of her grandkids and families. We gave my mom a locket and my dad a locket keychain. Each gift had a picture of the 10 week sonogram. My mom's locket had pictures of Alyssa, the sonogram, and one frame with "Due in June" written on it. So, anyway, we were really excited to tell our families after waiting soooooo long.

Christmas Eve 2009

I had just finished wrapping presents when I said to Alyssa, "We should put on your Christmas dress and take pictures."  I was really only half serious since there was wrapping paper and supplies all over the living room, but I turned around and Alyssa was taking off her shirt and within seconds had taken off everything she had been wearing.  Soooo, she got to run around in the buff for a while while I cleaned up and arranged things. 

Christmas 2009 with Gram and Gramps

Christmas in Edmond with Gram and Gramps was very serious business but she is still talking about it.  Alyssa played shy at first but was eventually in the middle of all the action with all of her cousins. 

Toddler Bed

We moved Alyssa to a toddler bed a few weeks ago.  While Daddy was working on her crib she kept telling me he "broke it."  However, she was quite happy when she discovered the end result!

Sheep Skin

Mom got Alyssa a sheep skin rug that she has enjoyed rolling around on....she made a bee-line for it after the tub the other night....I thought this was a cute picture.

Halloween 2009

Two Years Old!!!!!!

Oh, what a day! We celebrated little Lyssa's 2nd birthday! Can you believe it's been 2 whole years??? Without a doubt, the best two years of our lives so far! Alyssa really enjoyed her birthday and, as you can see, had a super time opening presents, eating, cake, and playing with all of her great new toys. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful day and to be surrounded by a huge group of family and friends. We had such an awesome day. It was truely a blessing.
